Emilio Headshot
Emilio España, President

Throughout his extensive career as an entrepreneur, Emilio España, has dedicated his time in an effort to support Mexican Nationals, Mexican Americans and Hispanics in the United States launch their Businesses. He was Founder and 1st president of the Mexican Entrepreneurs Association (AEM), and he currently is a consultant for the Institute of Mexicans Abroad (IME) a position that has allowed him the opportunity to promote the right to vote abroad. Now he serves as chairman of Integra Institute, an organization that contributes through educational programs to help Hispanic Businesses become more successful in the United States and specific actions, for a better development and integration of Hispanics living in the United States.

One of his most symbolic projects is the development of the AEM in Mexico to serve as a bridge for entrepreneurs interested in starting a business in theUnited States. Emilio was chosen for his experience during his tenure as president of the AEM, when he advocated for the elimination of cultural barriers between the two countries.

From an early age, he dedicated himself to the family business of food manufacturing, from production to design and distribution in Mexico and the United States. He was born in MexicoCity but moved to San Antonio, Texas to expand his business in the 1980’s, and since then he has been a successful entrepreneur in Texas and Mexico.

Emmanuel Loo, COO

Emmanuel Loo is a first generation Mexican American living Between Texas & Mexico, he graduated St. Edward's University with and f rom Stanford University. After completing his education started working in a Texas Based Private Equity Firm doing Mergers, acquisitions and valuations.

After several years in the private equity arena decided to follow his entrepreneur dream by starting his first business in the food and beverage space, followed by a technology company in healthcare. After a few years as an entrepreneur Emmanuel became involved in the Mexican Entrepreneur Association (AEM) as the President of the Austin Chapter helping Mexican Nationals launch their businesses or expand their existing Mexican Business in the United States. After two years as a President of AEM Emmanuel decided to start a consulting business to use his expertise in helping companies relocate to Texas, expand their Texas Operations and buy companies in Texas to grow their global business.

In addition to his consulting business Emmanuel is also involved in several other ventures in: financial services for the underbank underserved community, healthcare, fraud detection, lending, and technology. Emmanuel is also extremely focus in giving back to the community and sits on the board of the following nonprofits: Mexic-Arte Museum, Austin Sister cities international, Integra Institute, & Parents Alliance.

Arnulfo Treviño, Director

Arnulfo has been an attorney for more than 30 years practicing law in Texas for about 10 years and in Monterrey for more than 20 years. Arnulfo serves as a General Counsel and Attorney for Farmacias del Ahorro, Grupo Femsa, Oxxo, Heineken, Kia Motors, Anderton Castings, Polynor, Grupo Alfa, Hyndai, Crown, Lowes, Cemex, Frisa, Cydsa and other Large Mexican and International corporations as well as High network individuals.He has been helping his clients expand their business operations to the United States for more than 20 years.

He serves as a Board Member of COPARMEX (Mexican Employer’s Association), CAINTRA ( Northern Mexico Industrial Chamber) and Monterrey Technology institute, and CANICERIM (Mexican Beer manufacturers chamber of commerce).

He study Law at Monterrey University then received a Master of Law from Columbia University and an MBA from Monterrey Technology Institution and f rom IPADE (Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direcion de Empresas.

Edmundo Gonzalez, Director

Long experience of +20 years working in investment banking and international finance. More than 15 years in international business development. His career has focused mainly in providing business and financial support to local and foreign firms. In Bancomext – Mexico's Exports Bank - had a leading role in structuring complex international financial transactions, and was Financial Representative in New York for +7 years. As ProMéxico - Northeast Regional Director has a significant role fostering exports and investment. He was Trade Commissioner of Mexico in ProMéxico New York and Houston Offices, where he put in place strategies and initiatives to boost business relations between the US and Mexico. Worked more than 10 years in the US in finance and business development.

Nallely Garza, Director

More than 10 years on Economic Development, Foreign Direct Investment, Institutional Relations and Public Relations, in both public and private sectors. She held the position of Political Analyst at the State Congress of Nuevo León and the position of Foreign Investment Coordinator at the Ministry of Economy of Nuevo León.

During her position as FDI Coordinator, she was able to develop several projects oriented to promote the region such as the construction of the brand Business Nuevo León, the coordination of the state’s participation at Hannover Messe 2018, and also the opportunity to participate in trade missions to United States, Italy, Denmark, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, among others.

She also had the opportunity to participate in international trade shows such as Paris Air Show and Farnborough, in which she was in charge of making the business agendas with potential investors and partners. Some of her others tasks were the management of the relations with partners such as industrial chambers, industrial clusters, embassies, consulates, industrial parks, law firms, among others. She has a degree in International Relations f rom Universidad del Valle de México and a degree in Business Administration f rom Walden University.

She’s currently studying an MBA at EGADE Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. During her professional career she has completed different specialization courses, among them stands out the Economic Development Strategic Planning Course of the International Economic Development Council; the Investment Promotion and Free Trade Agreements Course of the Singapore Cooperation Program; and the Masterclass Series on Investment Promotion, Sustainable Development and Recovery by the International Labor Organization and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies.

Daniela Alcalde, Director

Daniela Alcalde Chávez has six years of experience working in the Mexican public sector and nearly two years working in the financial industry.

She has a B.B.A. in International Business Administration f rom Schiller International University and a Master's degree in Marketing and Commercial Management f rom ESIC Business and Marketing School.

In the last couple of years, Daniela has contributed as head of the Project Management Office in Fincomún (People’s Finance Corporation) and coordinated the elaboration of the annual strategic plan and quarterly result reports.

Before that position, she spent two years designing the operating model and technological tools (website and online platform) of the Single Window (one-stop-shop) of the (Project) Mexican special economic zones, achieving the creation of a unique model in its scope at a global level. Additionally, to get the zones ready to operate, she established several collaborative relationships with states, municipalities, Chambers, and Business Associations.

Previously, Daniela worked for ProMexico, Mexico’s Trade and Investment Agency, for nearly four years, where she was in charge of coordinating the strategic planning of the Institution as well as giving support to the CEO’s special projects. As part of her responsibilities, she served as a liaison with governmental and private entities and coordinated events with certain International Organizations, such as WEF, Red Ibero, UNCTAD, WAIPA, among others. Also, her tasks included preparing documents and protocols, regarding the relationship with high-level government officials and CEOs.

In those roles, Daniela developed strategies to incentivize trade and foreign investments in Mexico and provided support to several companies looking to expand their businesses locally and internationally.
